"Art Around the Box 2012"

Plans are underway for another Art Around the Box Fund Raiser.  A great success last year, raising almost $5000 to benefit Programs and Activities at the Morris Public Library.

'Friends Annual Ice Cream Social'

On the last day of school, to Kick off the 2011 Summer Reading Program at the Library  The Friends held their annual Ice Cream Social.   Children, pre-k through grade 6, attended and enjoyed an ice cream sundae and registered for the Library’s Summer Reading Program. The program encourages children to set and meet reading goals for the summer. After completing a specified number of books, children received prizes donated by local businesses.  Many thanks to Popey's of Morris who always donate the Ice Cream for this event.

Book and Bake Sales

A successful Book Sale was held on October 1 and held over for a week, many thanks to all who worked on this event!
